The PHASE 1 is an advanced measuring instrument to test the phase of any electronic audio system. Battery powered and due to its small size and weight it is a “must have” for every toolbox of every sound engineer. The system consists of two hand-held units. The emitter (PHASE 1A) generates a broad band 1Hz pulse as an output signal, this signal is then fed (via the signal chain) to the receiver (PHASE 1B). The signal can be sent to the receiver both electrically and acoustically. This is done electrically via the XLR connectors on the units and acoustically the emitter will send the signal through the speaker to the built-in microphone in the receiver.
